The 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine is characterized by high efficiency, low fuel consumption and excellent performance. With 110 kW of power and a user-friendly 310 Nm or torque on tap, this engine is designed to offer great performance and driveability.
The diesel engine is matched to a smooth-shifting six-speed manual transmission.

Payload
A one tonne payload*, a huge cargo area and the dual cab has approach and departure angles of 25° and 21° respectively.
*Payload is defined as the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) minus the Kerb Mass. Payload is the maximum combined weight of occupants, cargo, added structures and tow ball down weight (when towing). GVM must not be exceeded. Note: Sports bar may vary.
4×4 option
The Steed Dual Cab is designed to handle the toughest conditions, with its strong construction and ladder frame chassis.
It’s also a proven performer off road, where its capable diesel engine, six-speed transmission,
low range 4×4 gearing, 171 mm ground clearance, generous approach and departure angles and BorgWarner torque on demand transfer case combine seamlessly to take the Steed
off the beaten path.
Interior features
Every Great Wall Steed dual cab comes standard with Comfort-Tek seats all round, including heated seats for the driver and front passenger. The electric driver’s seat and four-way adjustable steering wheel combine to provide the perfect driving position, while the cleverly designed cabin ensures excellent visibility.
Multi-function Leather Steering Wheel
A soft touch leather steering wheel is both stylish and functional and is adjustable in four directions, i.e. up, down, forward and back. The steering wheel integrates multiple functions including cruise control, bluetooth, and audio control, which can be easily operated without taking your hands off the wheel.
Instrumentation
Featuring a lattice dash display screen designed to display 13 functions including instantaneous fuel consumption, driving range, average speed, tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS) and service interval reminders.
Safety
Safety features are inherent in every Great Wall dual cab utility, starting with a strong, robust frame and a cabin constructed with the finest high technology materials.
Autoliv airbags, side airbags and side curtain airbags – the choice of leading manufacturers around the globe – are standard in every Great Wall Steed dual cab utility. They are linked to sensors located around the vehicle to detect an accident and deploy in milliseconds.
Bosch Electronic Stability Program comes standard on all dual cab utilities, integrating anti-lock braking, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Traction Control System and Hill Hold Control system. ESP is designed to detect and analyse the vehicle’s condition in real time, helping to actively avoid accidents before they occur.
